Dad and I walked/ran around the lake on 9/11, about 3.2 miles total. Dad was pooped. I got some running intervals in but not for time, just trying to run as fast as possible to a specific landmark each time Dad caught up to me and caught his breath.

Not home, but still had plate carrier (20#) & 30# KB in truck, so rucked 9.11 miles in the PC, then 110 American KB swings (stories in WTC towers) & 93 air squats (UA Flight 93)

In memory of the many lives lost as a result of 9.11, including those of the brave men & women rushing in to save others & those sickened afterwards, the millions of troops deployed & injured or killed during same & all of their loved ones. Never forgotten.

With gratitude this day & every day, to all who serve: military, first responders, police, firefighters, et al. Thank you.

Constrained by available time and light this morning so did:

Loredo

6 rounds for time of:

24 squats

24 push-ups

24 walking lunge steps

Run 400 meters

23:55 (probably not a PR but probably not too far off)

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Edwardo Loredo, 34, of Houston, Texas, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, was killed on June 24, 2010 in Jelewar, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his wife, First Sergeant Jennifer Loredo; his daughter, Laura Isabelle; his stepdaughter, Alexis; and his son, Eduardo Enrique.

Never forget what happened on 11 September 2001, the lives that were lost that day, or the lives lost all the days following as a result of that day.

Hooah, SSgt! RIP, and peace to your family.

Well done, Lincoln! Wish I had seen this earlier, I could have done it with my limited and/or no equipment. My Dad was in the 82nd for one of his go 'rounds.

RIP Staff Sergeant Edwardo Loredo
